Wearing a one-shouldered dress from Rodarte's Spring/Summer 2009 collection, Harry Potter starlet Emma Watson attended a private dinner at Harvey Nichols in London last week. Incorporating elements of the sheer trend along with its avant-garde layering's of draped and gathered fabrics, the dress was nicely contrasted by Watson's hair and makeup.
Very interesting dress, I think I like it... yes I do.. wrong shoes though, a pair of thin strapped, silver, high stiletto heeled sandals would have been a wise choice, but then, that is only my humble opinion. Great post though. COlin.
The concept for the dress is not bad, but that particular combination does not work. Also, the sheer look works best when you have something to show through...like abs, cleavage or tattoos. She's got none of those. Finally, she needs to grow up some more. She looks like a little kid completely out of place in that dress.
